Peninsula Packaging Group are delighted to share that Ryan Base and Fred Wilson (pictured right) have recently completed their apprenticeships.
has successfully completed his Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship, achieving Distinctions, while Fred, has achieved his AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting. Investing in new talent is hugely important for Peninsula Packaging Group, and it’s great to see colleagues developing their skills and bringing fresh ideas into the organisation.
Ryan Base commented: “My time as an apprentice at Peninsula Packaging Group has been a really valuable experience, and I’m proud of how much I’ve been able to progress and learn throughout my time here. I’ve developed my skills, gained a much better understanding of the business and, most importantly, built strong relationships with people across the company.
It hasn’t always been easy, especially with all the change and challenges the business has faced, but seeing the company push through and prevail has made the experience even more rewarding. I’m really grateful for all the support, guidance and encouragement I’ve received along the way, and I want to say a big ‘thank you’ to everyone who has taken the time to help me, support me and make me feel part of the business.
The relationships I’ve built, and everything I’ve learned will stay with me, and I’m excited to continue developing and see where the experience takes me.”
Fred Wilson commented: “Peninsula Packaging Group, they’ve done a lot to help me achieve my first accountancy qualification, especially Tracy. Everybody has been very committed to teaching me, preparing me for my exams, and ensuring I have time to learn and revise.
I have also been gradually given more roles and responsibilities, including placing me on ISO9001 and 14001 training courses so that I can work toward becoming an internal auditor. The whole company has a great sense of community and teamwork, I was even asked to organise a sweepstake for the World Cup and set up charity bingo.”
It’s fantastic to see Ryan and Fred rewarded for their hard work, commitment, and determination. Well done to both of you!
